New Year's in Little Rock

Do something new and different this New Year’s Eve: grab your sweetie and head to our Little Rock lodging for a romantic night together. Whether this is your first New Year’s Eve together, or your fiftieth, you can make it special. We are beginning a new decade, after all, and that seems to call for extraordinary measures. Make the arrival of 2010 something you will both remember for the rest of your lives.

Our Little Rock lodging is located in the Quapaw Quarter – nine square miles of historic area in the heart of the city. You can pass a memorable – and romantic – stay here by doing nothing other than strolling the oak-lined streets hand-in-hand, admiring the rich historic architecture.

There are many excellent restaurants, cafes and bars in the Quapaw Quarter; ask us some of our favorites, or just keep walking until you happen upon a place that strikes your fancy.
The River Market District, also quite close, is another good place to find good food. It may also be the best spot for a wide selection of live music.

You may choose to spend New Year’s Eve out on the town, or you may choose to spend it together at the inn. What is important is that you have decided to take this time to be together, and to celebrate one another as you welcome 2010.

Happy New Year!

"Hey from Louisiana. I couldn’t wait to leave a message and thank you for the most Wonderful Weekend. You made our 25th Anniversary one we will never forget. The house and room was beautiful. Karen, you and your mom Mirian, were the perfect hosts. We loved spending the morning talking to you over the most delicious breakfast. The blueberry muffins were to die for! Breakfast was not just a meal, it was an event, personlized to your taste and prepared at the time you requested. Not only did you provide us with the most luxurious, but affordable, place to stay but when we were downtown and were trying to find a nice place to eat on our last day in Little Rock, we felt comfortable enough to call you, and you were so kind to give us suggestions. We can’t wait to come back and spend another weekend with you. We are going to tell everyone we know that Robinwood Bed and Breakfast is a MUST if you are in Little Rock. Karen and Miriam, you were just lovely. Thank You so much!!!"

Robinwood Welcomes a New Addition to the Family

Pet friendly b&b’s  know everyone loves a new baby in the house.  Please help us welcome Hannah.  She is now four months old and finally house broken!  Her best friend is Pete, and he thinks she is pretty special.  They romp for hours at a time.  Anja really thinks they are rediculous, but then she is the grand old dame of the house.  At 13, I think she has earned the right to be just a little judgemental.

Say “Hello” to Hannah

May is for Moms in Little Rock

Little Rock Ar Bed and Breakfasts find May an exciting month.

Mother’s Day brings the annual Quapaw Quarter Spring Tour.  This year’s tour, “Something for Everyone”  let’s guests to Little Rock’s Historic Quapaw Quarter spend the day with Mom in a very special way.  Five very different historic homes will be on tour, St. Andrews Cathedral will be spectacular, and a newly available River Market condo will join this year’s tour.  Tickets will be available at the homes or at the Visitor’s Center at Curran Hall, which is also a “must see”.

Area Realtors will be holding open houses in the neighborhood while the Spring Tour is being held.  This wonderful neighborhood really goes all out to welcome visitors and make the day special.  While traveling the sidewalks between homes, be sure to say “Hi!’ to the residents you pass.  It makes their day special, too.
