Fall in Little Rock AR It’s Raining!

Fall is here!  We are having the most fabulous slow rain coming down.

A guest reminded me just yesterday that Robinwood is for relaxing!  Sometimes I forget that.  From the moment guests enter, that is our goal.  To provide an atmosphere that says, “Hey, slow down, smell the roses (or in our case, the bathsalts!), enjoy the moment.”

Whether you are in Little Rock for business or pleasure, enjoy the porch, or the sun room.  Grab your favorite beverage to take along and add to the experience.  Some guests spend the entire visit in the sun room with a good book, (or a mobile device) and just enjoy the view from the tree tops.  Some spend hours on the porch, watching the world go by.   Today, the sound of rain makes the morning  just a little lazy.  And isn’t that the way a relaxing morning should be?

Join us at Robinwood Bed and Breakfast.  Just to Relax.

Little Rock, Arkansas…what to do? what to do?

There is so much going on right now in our little city!  The summer weather is soooo much better this year.  We can actually breathe when we go outside.  Our Little Rock outdoor cafes are just the best way to end (or begin!) the evening.

Hidden jewels in the city like Trios’ , The Faded Rose, and Loca Luna’s patios are filled with patrons enjoying the beauty that is Little Rock.  Great food, wonderful deserts, and gracious staff make for memories that last forever.

Wander through the quaint shops on Kavanaugh and find interesting and delightful pieces to remind you of the trip every time you see them.

Stop and listen to local musicians play jazz at the After Thought, or cutting edge, up and coming musicians at Vino’s Microbrewery.

Step back to the time of dinner theater and catch a dinner and a show at Murry’s Dinner Playhouse.  The local actors play innumerable parts with authenticity and fun.

Wonderful Weather in Little Rock! What a way to spend the Week!

Little Rock has hit a cool down!  With July temperatures in the 80 degree range, outdoor activities have been revived.  All our favorite places have outdoor patios that are begging to be used.  Our long, cool spring has opened to a lovely summer.  Little Rock is lush and green.  The flowers are still blooming, and you will find sooo very many things to do here

The Big Damn Bridge and Two Rivers Bridge beckon for the adventurous!  Bobbie’s Bike Rental in the River Market is  just the perfect ticket for anyone who thinks a bicycle-built-for-two is the way to spend a wonderful afternoon.  Strolling by the sculptures down by the river for those who want to spend a more relaxed afternoon is great with the breezes flowing off the water, and what beautiful water it is!

The museums are still here for anyone needing a blast of cold air.  The Historic Arkansas Museum has several great new exhibits.  Little Rock has a great new purse museum, Esse Purse Museum, to be exact, on Main Street.  The exhibit has traveled the world and come home to Little Rock!  Rebrandt, Van Dyke, and Gainsborough are visiting the Arkansas Arts Center for the summer.  Oscar de la Renta has provided the Clinton Center a rare fashion evolution display, visiting now, all within minutes of Robinwood Bed and Breakfast.

Crush Wine Bar’s deck is a perfect way to spend the late evening hours before returning to sit on the porch at Robinwood and watch the neighborhood go by.  The parade of children and dogs begins at about 5 o’clock and runs until dark!

Join us and enjoy an incredible summer stay!
